golang-pault-go-debian-dev software package provides library to parse and handle common Debian file formats, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-pault-go-debian-dev
golang-pault-go-debian-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-pault-go-debian-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-pault-go-debian-dev *
